Built to Benefit Everyone: Our Founding Charter

February 14, 2026

Today we publish the Alyta Foundation's founding charter — the document that defines what we stand for, what we require of Alyta, Inc., and how we will hold ourselves accountable.

Our Core Principles

1. Social technology must serve everyone. Products built by Alyta, Inc. must not be designed to benefit one group of users at the expense of another.

2. AI must be transparent and explainable. Users of Alyta products have the right to understand, in plain terms, how AI influences what they see and how their data is used.

3. Profits are a means, not the mission. Alyta, Inc. operates under a profit cap. Revenue above that cap flows to the Foundation. Commercial success is valued because it enables impact — not as an end in itself.

4. The Foundation's oversight is permanent. No acquisition, merger, investor agreement, or restructuring may remove or reduce the Foundation's governance rights over Alyta, Inc. This clause is irrevocable.

5. We will be transparent about our failures. When our products cause harm — and they will — we will acknowledge it publicly, explain what went wrong, and report what we are doing to fix it.
